The Personnel Management Conference took place in Riga on 17 April 2008. Personnel managers and specialists gathered at this event to discuss current issues. Ingrīda Rone, LTC Personnel Director, and Ilze Zeltnere, LTC BPO |Board Chair, took the floor with a presentation, How Company and Personnel Managers Can Work Together to Create an Employee-friendly and Focused Organisation: Determination, Goals and Life Balance.
LAOP conference Organisation Efficiency – How To Improve It

Latvian entrepreneurs, business owners, senior and mid-level managers (personnel, IT, quality control), finance directors, internal auditors and other interested parties were invited to take part in the conference organised by the Latvian Association of Organisational Psychologists on 10 April 2008.
The aim of the conference was to provide information on how the newest findings in the fields of organisational personnel management, quality management and technologies can help to improve organisational efficiency and, in addition, offer new ideas and tools to increase work productivity, making use of best practice examples.
As part of the conference Raivis Mackevičs, Director of the Lattelecom Business Solutions Department, led the session, The Role of Successful Technological Solutions in the Advancement of Organisational Efficiency.
Baltic IT&T Conference

The annual Baltic IT&T conference took place in April, bringing together experts and leading companies of the field. The focus of this year’s conference was the development of effective partnerships. Chairman of the Lattelecom Technology board, Valdis Lokenbahs led the CIO/ICT conference session.
Cisco Expo

This year’s Cisco Expo took place on 28 February 2008 and brought together technology specialists to discuss the newest Cisco solutions and products. Gints Miķelsons, manager of the Lattelecom Telecommunications Solution Department’s Service Management Unit took the floor with a presentation.
SAP World Tour in the Baltics

SAP held conferences in all three Baltic States to discuss the newest SAP products and solutions. Alvis Ērglis, deputy director of the Lattelecom Technology Software Solutions unit, took the floor at all three conferences in Vilnius, Jurmala and Tallinn.
Telecom Finance
